Lot 145 George Washington

Two segments of written words in Washington’s hand, “six pounds currency,” on a 4.75 x 2.5 slip clipped from a larger partially-printed document; and “Unto David Kidd &,” on an off-white 3 x .25 clipped slip. Both are double suede matted and framed with a color portrait of Washington to an overall size of 11.75 x 17.25. In very good condition, with document portion stabilized with restorative backing, as well as paper loss to center and some scattered light toning.
